CHARACTERIZATION: TGG Chapter 4 Reading Quiz
Choose either Gatsby or Wolfsheim. For each character, provide three quotes directly from the text. One quote must be something the character says about himself. One quote must be something the author says about him. One quote must be something another character in the novel says about him. After providing the quotes, sum up your chosen character in one original sentence.

I choose Gatsby. On page 46 Gatsby says "I'm afraid I made you a little angry this morning in the car." On page 44 the author says "Even Gatsby could happen, without any particular wonder." On page 46 Nick says "I dont liek mysteries and I don't understand why you won't come out frankly and tell me what you want. Why has it all got to come through Miss Baker." Gatsby is not a straight forward person.
Gatsby quotes:
1- I was in the 28th infantry.
2- It was 1 of those rare smiles with a quality of eternal reasurrance in it, that you may come across 4 or 5 times in life.
3- Somebody told me they thought he killed a man once.

Folks: The six of you who have posted have each done excellent collages of your chosen characters. I'm disappointed that more of your classmates haven't joined in on this assignment.

I choose Gatsby. Page 46 Gatsby says "I see you're looking at my cuff buttons." Nick says on page 46 "There's the kind of man you'd like to take home and introduce to your mother and sister." On page 46 the author says "I hadn't been looking at them, but I did not. They were composed of oddly familiar pieces of ivory." Gatsby is a rich lonely man.

The charecter I have chosen was gasby. The quotes I obtain when I was reading the Great Gasby was on page 42 when he said I'll tell you the god truth. Another quote in the passage was when he said I am gonna tell you somethng about my life and I don't want you to get the wrong idea of me. Also on page 42 when he said" All right old sport"/
